Right now, Austin Take A Chance Organization is just a few of us — walking, biking, and showing up for people who are going through it. We pack every tote bag ourselves and deliver them directly to folks who are displaced, overlooked, or just trying to survive. We’re not funded by big grants or backed by major sponsors — everything we do is out of pocket, fueled by love, lived experience, and the belief that no one should have to face life’s hardest moments alone.

This organization started because we wanted to be the people we needed when it mattered. We don’t just hand out supplies — we check in, we listen, we remember names. And our dream is bigger than just getting people through the day. We want to be a bridge — connecting people not just to food or hygiene items, but to real resources and long-term support through partnerships with other orgs doing incredible work in Austin.
